GREEK-SPEAKING PSYCHOTHERAPY
Online psychotherapy in Greek or English.
This page is mainly for Greek-speaking people who want therapy with someone who shares the language and cultural context without needing it explained from scratch.
It is especially relevant to Greeks living abroad, including people working in tech, startups and other international careers who may find that combination difficult to find where they live.
Living abroad
Living abroad can create practical and personal questions that stay in the background for years. Parents and family may be in another country. A partner may have a different idea of where home is. Returning to Greece may remain an open question without becoming a real plan.
Those issues do not need to be the reason for therapy, but they are useful context when they matter.
Work and professional context
Many Greek-speaking clients who find this practice relevant work in technology, startups, business or other demanding international careers.
Before psychotherapy, I spent more than 18 years in product and growth. Both the professional environment and the experience of living and working across countries are familiar contexts.
What people bring
Therapy can be about relationship problems, anxiety, burnout, separation, family conflict, grief, career decisions or anything else that would normally bring somebody to psychotherapy.
Being Greek is context, not the subject you are required to talk about.
Practicalities
Sessions are online by video. Before ongoing psychotherapy begins, I confirm that I can professionally work with you based on where you are currently located and the rules that apply there.
Common questions
Can sessions be entirely in Greek?
Yes.
Can we switch between Greek and English?
Yes. Use whichever language makes the conversation more accurate.
Do I need to live outside Greece?
No. This page is particularly relevant to Greeks abroad because finding a Greek-speaking therapist with similar professional context can be difficult locally, but the service is not defined by migration status.
Do you work only with men?
No. The wider practice is positioned mainly towards men in tech, startups, business and demanding careers. Greek-speaking psychotherapy is broader.
