Advisor & Licensed Psychotherapist
BACP-registered · Based in Ireland · Working globally

I'm an advisor and licensed psychotherapist, and I work privately with a small number of tech founders and solopreneurs. Most of what I do starts as a business problem and turns out to trace back to something inside the person running the business, so we work on both at the same time.

Background

Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent 18+ years in tech, in product and growth — building companies and advising more than 500 of them. That history means I understand the environment my clients operate in — the sales you avoid, the pricing you're scared to raise, the hire you keep postponing, the decision you keep circling — without needing half a session to set the context.

How I work

I work on two tracks at once. The inner track finds the pattern that's actually driving the problem and works to rewire it. The business track is the real decision in front of you — the move, the offer, the plan. One without the other doesn't hold, so I don't split them.

It isn't therapy by the protocol, and it isn't coaching with a framework. It's a trusted advisory relationship with someone who's sat where you're sitting, cares how it goes, and will still tell you the hard thing to your face. More on how I work →

Who I work with

Startup and tech founders and solopreneurs, mostly in Europe, the US and Canada. People doing well by most external measures who sense that something in how they operate is quietly costing them — in the business and in themselves.

Credentials

Licensed psychotherapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). All sessions are online, one-on-one, and confidential.

Writing

I write about the psychology of ambition, identity and performance on my blog and talk about it on my YouTube channel. The writing names what people in high-stakes careers feel but rarely say out loud. The private work is where we change it.
